Prerequisites

Before deploying Harbor on EKS using this project, ensure you have the following tools and configurations in place:

OpenTofu >= 1.8.0 or Terraform >= 1.0 (as an alternative)
AWS CLI (configured with appropriate permissions)
kubectl
helm
Go (for running tests)
tflint (for linting)
terraform-docs (optional, for documentation generation)

Note

You can use Terraform as an alternative to OpenTofu for deployment if you encounter issues with OpenTofu’s ongoing development.

Installation Commands

macOS (using Homebrew)

Linux (Ubuntu/Debian)
